Following NHS England’s announcement that the initial NHS Emeritus programme is scheduled to run up to 31st March 2025, we are delighted to announce that Liaison Group will be continuing the programme beyond this date as “Emeritus 2.0”.
As one of the 40+ providers and 300+ clinicians who expressed an interest in this fantastic programme, we are reaching out to you today to ask if you would like to be part of Emeritus 2.0, which will continue to change the way retired and peri-retired NHS professionals can support today’s NHS challenges.
We’re elevating Emeritus to offer retirees even more opportunities to make a meaningful impact on the NHS, all whilst providing greater flexibility for you.
Emeritus is already making a real difference. For example, in just three months, Milton Keynes University NHS Foundation Trust reduced their Ophthalmology waiting list from 1,000 to just 200 patients – an excellent outcome for those waiting for care.
