In March 2025, we announced the continuation of the NHS Emeritus programme, transforming it into Emeritus 2.0 and bringing it under our Liaison National Bank initiative. We would love you to come on this journey in changing the way retired and peri-retired NHS professionals can support today’s NHS challenges.
We respect your privacy and want to ensure you have full control over your personal data.
As part of your participation in Emeritus 2.0, existing details from the NHS Emeritus database can be replicated in Emeritus 2.0, reducing the need for you to re-enter information. This includes essential workplace pre-screening data required for participation in NHS placements.
What Data Will Be Transferred?
✔ Contact details (name, address, email, phone number)
✔ Professional details (specialism, skills, expertise, workplace history)
✔ Employment-related data (criminal background checks (DBS), occupational health screening results, right-to-work documentation)
✔ Payment-related information (bank details, National Insurance (NI) number, tax details)
Why We Need This Data
We will only process this data to manage your participation in Emeritus 2.0, complete required workplace pre-screening checks, and facilitate placement with NHS organisations.
By providing consent, you can seamlessly continue from your previous NHS Emeritus onboarding, and we will transfer your existing profile from Credentially.
Once a placement is agreed, we will share the necessary pre-screening data with the relevant NHS organisation before they can allow work to commence. Your data will not be shared for any other purpose without your further consent.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting our dedicated support team.
For full details on how we process your data are available via our privacy notice.
